Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician. C174

174 Entertainment room

Once the interior and decorations are finished, all that remains is to arrange the furniture.

In the meantime, I have to do what only I can do. In short, it's like working on an entertainment room and a Japanese-style room.

First of all, darts. This was done by coloring a cork board, writing numbers on it, and placing it in the corner of the entertainment room as a dart board. Create a partition so that darts cannot be thrown from the side.

A colored floor is placed as a marker for the throwing distance.

From now on, I will write 501 on a piece of paper and post it on the wall as an example of how to play. It's a game where you start with 501 points and reduce it by the number of squares you hit, aiming for zero.

Well, I've heard that there are a wide variety of darts games, just like cards, so I think everyone will enjoy it in their own way if they play it the way they want to play.

“Are you throwing this arrow by hand?”

Irmhild is looking at the poster with interest, probably because it's a game that uses arrows, so he's probably interested in it as a specialist.

Marlene and Sheila, who were with me, also seemed curious. Seraphina, who was riding on Marlene's shoulder, was also there.

“Oh, is this for personal use?”

Seraphina makes a happy sound.

"Yeah. It seems like a big arrow would be difficult to throw."

We also prepared a set of reduced-sized darts, so Seraphina can also play by throwing them normally. It's a game where you compete for scores, so there shouldn't be any problems.

"This is how you play... by throwing and hitting the target.Would you like to try it out?"

"Are you okay?"

The four people looked happy. Dart has arrived so I can play with it now.

"Good. I still have work to do, so I'm working on it. It would be helpful if you could let me know what you think."

When I suggested it to them, everyone started playing with darts. The way he threw it was a little awkward, but as he was throwing it, he seemed to be taking my form as a reference, and his form gradually became better. Marlene, who was sitting on a chair, seemed to be having fun, clapping every time she hit the target. And, as expected, Sheila is the best at throwing darts. Irmhild is also quite skilled, probably because she is used to aiming at things from a long distance.

"Hmm, it's not difficult to hit the target. It takes a lot of brainpower to play the way it's written on the paper."

"But it's interesting."

Marlene nods deeply at the words of Sheila and Irmhild. It's great that you like it.

With that in mind, I moved on to making billiards. Form a pool table and cue using wood magic and earth magic. The billiard table is completed with a lasha. It seems that the key to billiards is the tension of the rasha... Let's play with it from time to time and see how it goes.

The tip of the cue is made of oak skin. The horn was made from a monster's fang, but the skin and horn may need further research and improvement. Just line the handle with cork and prepare some chalk to prevent it from slipping, and you're ready to use the cue.

Billiard balls were made by purchasing and processing monster fangs recovered from the labyrinth. Just like darts, stick up a piece of paper with the rules of billiards written on it.

"Mr. Alfred has appeared."

Grace and Ashley, Cecilia and Mihaela, Alfred, Viola, and Talcott's Kobo group entered the entertainment room with tea sets in hand. The fragrant smell of baked goods wafts through the entertainment room.

As her older sister, Grace seems to have taught Cecilia the locations of various tools. Apparently he was making baked goods for everyone.

“Everything that was requested was completed.”

It seems that Alfred and his friends have come to deliver a ring of human transformation and a cloak for the Fiery Citadel.

"Thank you. But it's quite early."

“There are parts where you can’t help but get excited.”

Alfred smiles bitterly. I guess he stayed up all night again.

"No, thank you both for your hard work."

"Hmm. Thank you. You're doing something interesting again."

The workshop group was looking at the darts and billiards posters with interest.

``One game involves throwing an arrow and hitting the target accurately. This game involves hitting a ball and hitting the ball like this. The details are written on paper, so I'd be happy if you could try it out and let me know what you think.'' But.”

"Well, it's a good deal."

``I'm trying to make the Lasha evenly stretched, but if there are any strange unevenness, it would be helpful if you let me know.''

"Okay. How do I hit it like this?"

"oh yeah"

After a while, the unique sound of billiards began to echo in the entertainment room.

"This is fun. The sound is kind of nice."

"Are you hitting the frame, bouncing it off, and hitting it in numerical order? It's pretty deep."

Viola and Talcott also seem to be enjoying themselves.

"If you like it, I have no problem with you coming to visit. It will also allow you to interact with everyone in the monster village."

"Good. Hmm. Let's put the magic tool for carbonated drinks and the shaved ice machine on the counter in the entertainment room."

"Right. Let's make it again."

Hmm. Alfred and Viola seem to be having fun talking about creation again.

After that... it's the tatami mats for the Japanese-style room. This is an arrangement of paper-making magic and tree magic to form a structure resembling a rush. Manipulate the golem and make it weave.

“What kind of game are you playing there?”

Ashley asks.

"No, this is just a floorboard. I'm thinking of putting it in the new room I made."

"Is that so? It smells good."

Ashley closed her eyes and breathed in the scent of the tatami.

"It smells like grass."

"Yeah. Oh, now that I think about it, what happened to Evilweed?"

The topic of grass came up, so I got curious and asked about it.

Evilweed is a weed monster. Ashley must have been taking care of it in a pot, but I think it's growing quite well.

"Ah, those kids? They got attached to me even if I didn't cross them. I used water magic to give them water and nutrition... They're surprisingly cute when they get attached to me. ”

"Huh? Water magic? Claudia also talked about how monsters' properties are fixed when they are small."

Unexpectedly, that story became proven.

When I asked Ashley to bring me a flowerpot, it was certainly quiet in Ashley's hands.

I also tried patting its head lightly, but it didn't seem like it was going to bite me either. If you look at it this way, it might look cute.

"Theodore. It's finished."

Claudia also peeked out at the doorway. It seems like everyone has gathered in the entertainment room.

Claudia was working on setting up a portable stone monument in the basement. Apparently, once Claudia transports the villagers to the basement, they will be able to go back and forth between the village and the basement.

"Thank you for your hard work. I see. Once the furniture is in, I guess I can finally invite you."

"That's right. The children who want to come will be the first to come."

"Hmm. Well then, let's take a little break."

While everyone was playing games, I took a break with some baked goods and tea.

"Well, that's interesting. It's called a card, and it's well made."

After finishing one game of billiards, Alfred shares his thoughts. Alfred seemed to really like billiards. Whether it's darts or billiards, it's a game that has developed over many years.

"Aren't you going to sell something like this? I feel like it would be a waste to keep it exclusive to this place."

Viola tilts her head.

"It might sell, but...it would mean more chores. I wouldn't be able to handle it."

"If that's the case, I have someone I can trust."

Alfred says.

“What do you mean?”

“No, before I met Theo-kun, I was trying to find someone who could handle the things I made in my workshop, and I made connections with various merchants that I thought I could trust. There were a lot of things like war equipment and communication equipment that weren't suitable to be left to those people.''

"ah……"

For sure. The air combat equipment and communication equipment are classified, or should I say so, and they are all things that cannot be discontinued once they are put into circulation.

However, recently there have been a lot of items related to entertainment, so I wonder if it's okay to have merchants handle those items?

It's better to have more income since you have to pay wages.

“Then, can I ask you to help me cross?”

"Well then, I'll set up an opportunity to talk to Theo-kun. Theo-kun will decide whether or not to leave it to you after we meet."

"Okay. Just let me know when the date is decided."

Hmm. There's so much to do here.
